How much will I pay and are there any concealed costs? Once agreed, the price you will pay will be the price we quote. We operate a system which is all-inclusive and includes estimating, insurance, boxes, packing materials and tape, so there will be no hidden costs. The only occurrence where an additional fee will be applied is if additional items are added to the itinerary after we have agreed a price.
Are you insured? Yes. We have a very comprehensive Goods in Transit Insurance covering your contents up to £20,000. If you require a higher sum assured, then this can be arranged specifically for your move. You will need to let us know if there are any particularly valuable items, so we can insure they are covered.
What happens if there is a breakage? It is a very rare occurrence, but after all we are all human and accidents can happen. In the unlikely event of a breakage, all claims are dealt with efficiently and amicably through our insurance.
Can you supply packing boxes and packing materials? We can supply a whole range of protective equipment including various sized boxes, garment carriers, tape, bubble wrap and packing paper. Any special requirements need to be mentioned before you move. Please let us know what you require, and we will be more than happy to accommodate.
Can you do my packing? Yes, we have trained staff including female packers for those customers who feel more comfortable with that arrangement.
Do your staff smoke on the job? No, all our well-trained staff have strict codes of conduct in respect of behaviour which includes not smoking while working. We also have a non-smoking policy whilst driving on a job.
What about storage? We have very extensive storage arrangements we can offer you the best rates available, whilst providing quick and efficient access.
I work late – can you come and see me after hours?
We will do everything we can to make your move as stress free as possible, and this starts from the quotation stage. We often don’t finish estimating with customers until late and this includes weekends, so we would be happy to quote at a time that is convenient to you.
What type of vans do you have?
All our vans are 3.5 tonne Luton vans with tail lifts. If there is ever an additional need for a larger or additional vans, then this can easily be arranged.
What areas do you cover?
Although our head office is based in Central London, we can accommodate moves all over the UK. We are happy to do any job inside the UK.
What happens if you break down? All of our vehicles are well maintained and have great road records, so it’s unlikely. In the unlikely case of a breakdown, we are covered by a comprehensive breakdown and recovery policy as part of our vehicle insurance.
